Graphic designer / motion graphics editor

We are looking for an experienced digital designer to join our team and work across our digital agency. You will work across our video, digital marketing and web teams, working on the strategy, design and creation of assets for our clients. 

We’re looking for someone who loves creating beautiful and effective visual assets – whether that’s in the form of animation, video, stills, branding, print or website elements. 

A significant amount of your time will be spent creating assets for our award-winning digital team to use in social media campaigns. You’ll need a good and instinctive understanding of what works on social media, and to be able to apply that to both moving and static images. You will also be an integral part of our video team, where you will work on everything from full 2D animated videos to end boards and lower thirds. 

Across the business as a whole, you’ll put your design skills to good use, supporting our web team with the design of elements for websites, working on design for literature, brands, infographics and more. You’ll need to be big on ideas and able to understand a brief quickly and turn it into a visual reality. A lot of our work involves representing complex ideas and science visually, so you’ll need to be quick to grasp complex topics, able to make them come alive on screen. For our social campaigns, you’ll need  an understanding of how to engage audiences across various social platforms, creating beautiful, effective content alongside our digital marketing team. We’re looking for someone who would like to be involved from the very start, brainstorming ideas for projects and coming up with concepts for campaigns. You’ll have a great balance of working within a creative and supportive team but also having plenty of autonomy to work your own magic. 

Agency and/or client skills will be a distinct advantage – we’d love it if you were to bring some experience of handling day-today client requests and presenting ideas and concepts. Good communication and people skills will be very important.

We’re looking for an experienced designer who is confident and comfortable working across design for screen, video, animation and print. We would expect you to have significant experience in a similar role – ideally within an agency environment.

  • Adobe After Effects – advanced
  • ​Adobe Photoshop - advanced
  • Adobe Premiere Pro editing - basic
  • Adobe Illustrator – advanced
  • Adobe InDesign - intermediate
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to come up with creative ideas and solutions to briefs
  • Brand and logo design

  • Experience of working on creative social media campaigns
£25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

£25,000 - £32,000 plus benefits package depending on skills and experience
